Oakwood University
Oakwood University is a private historically black Seventh-day Adventist university in Huntsville, Alabama. It offers undergraduate programs in arts and sciences, business, theology, nursing and health sciences, education, and also graduate programs in religion and education. Founded in 1896, Oakwood is known for its strong music program (notably its choir), its faith-based curriculum, and its role within the Adventist educational system.
